I loved the shade
I visited the park while on the Shooting Star Trail. After a hot day fighting headwinds with little shade, it was nice to go through a wooded area with shade.
Overall nice SP but if you are looking for swimming this is not the place. Water is full of silt, stagnant and full of algae. Kayaking was ok but it doesn't take long to cover the navigable area plus...
