What travelers say:

Steep initial climb until you reach the top of the Muela and steeple-shaped mountains. You can walk on longer driving routes or take short walks on the hills with rugged paths, but the path is steeper. The view was great on the way back to La Paz, but it was really special to walk into the valley and the view from Muela. I went to the base of Muela but didn’t climb because the third w/e of the carnival opened and I wanted to see it. You need to pass through a small village before reaching Muela, there are two roads, the road to the left has two epic pits, for those in the car this will be a good day, it is best to take it slowly. The road is not wide at times. There was a very steep section of the path through the village and I saw a car trying to slide up and back down! It would be unsafe without four-wheel drive. I walked through town and a dog rushed at me everywhere, I was upset, so picked up a rock and let it tear, the little guy might be more cautious next time. Animal rights man? Well, when I was carrying my backpack, there were dogs chasing me down Mount Puno, and my back was hurt, so there was no pity ever again.
