A beautiful little harbour!
This small bit perfectly formed little harbour is the focal point of La Flotte. Boats coming & going & plenty of dining opportunities, while you watch them.
Heart of the village.
It all happens here. The heart of the fishing village surrounded by restaurants, bars shops. Views of the boats leaving and entering the port. Very busy but quieter than Saint Martin.
Lovely harbour
Plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants. Nice boats in the small harbour, so easy to walk around. The port gives this small town a great atmosphere.

My favourite village on Ile de Re
The Ile de Re is beautiful but I think that La Flotte was my favourite village. Beautiful church and a small shopping street leading down to the very picturesque port with sandy beaches either side. ...
