Former London Women Missionary Society Residence

 The London Missionary Woman's House is a typical remnant of the church's residential buildings in the second half of the 19th century in Gulangyu, and a precious example of the porch-style buildings in the early colonies of Gulangyu, witnessing the activities of foreign missionaries in the second half of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century.

The former British Consulate in Xiamen, located at No. 5, Gulangyu Zhangzhou Road, Xiamen, is a beautiful house hidden in green trees. Now it has become the exhibition hall of Xiamen Jinquan Coin Museum. In the former British Consulate decoration hall of Gulangyu with classical Tasgan and Ioni pillars, the exhibition of gold, silver, copper, iron, lead, nickel, aluminum, paper and other different textures of China from the Neolithic era to the Republic of China, a total of more than 5,200 kinds. Combining the detailed explanation of currency culture and the simulated atmosphere of background music, the viewer is like entering a living historical and cultural corridor, revisiting the history of civilization development of China's 5,000 years from the source of mankind. In July 1844, English Christian missionary John Shi (John Stronach) established the British London Missionary Church (also known as the Free Church) in Xiamen, and later built a dormitory building near Jimu Mountain. Built before 1856, the building is a rectangular plane surrounded by wide corridor space, is a typical single-storey colonial corridor. The base is partially a half-storey high, moisture-proof layer with coupon corridor, and the upper part is surrounded by a continuous semi-circle arched coupon corridor in the New Renaissance style.
