2019 WAS CANCELLED .... BUT
Unfortunately the festival was cancelled for the first time in decades this October due to the typhoon, but we were able to visit the museum that has a permanent collection of three floats. The "cars"...
It is a brave festival where the floats preserved in each town parade around the city all at once. Each float is decorated with beautiful sculptures that make you addicted to it. It is spectacular to see the floats lit up by lanterns gathering in the center of the street. It may not be a nationally famous festival, but it is full of spectacular views.
I was told that "buttsuki" is a competition for music by facing two or more sculpture stalls at intersections. The real thrill of this festival is the beauty of the sculpture stalls in Kanuma, a woodworking and furniture town. Just looking at this was well worth going to this festival.
Impressed by the sculpture stalls lined up. I won't get tired of it every time!

I am impressed when a huge number of sculpture stalls parade and hit the chopsticks from four directions at the intersection.
Autumn Festival 2 The day was the Citizen Festival, 1 I heard that it was more crowded than the Shinto rituals on the day, and I went from the morning. It was sunny, so I could see the sculptures and paints of the stalls clearly. You can see all of the 27 food stalls on the day and get drunk with the wonderful art of each one. Tents were set up everywhere and I was able to eat local specialties. In the evening, the evening darkness where all the stalls gather in the center and the lights of the stalls are a wonderful collaboration. The last is the true ...
