Phanmit Don Rak Cemetery is a cemetery of war prisoners being asked by Japanese to make the Death Railway. It is a very sad learning center.
The War Cemetery is just 10 minutes walk from the Kanchanaburi train station. There is only a brief history write out both in English and Thai. A peaceful place to pay respect to those who had sacrifice building the River Kwai Bridge and railways.
