Nice small town
We stayed in Junction City so we could go to the Eisenhower Museum in Abeline. We liked Junction city, but a lot of stuff was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We arrived Sunday and Left Wednesday.
Very interesting site.
If you are a history nerd like me, you will find this very interesting. There are other pieces on display here also.

Ft Riley has closed this attraction. Visit and you’ll receive a fairly friendly visit from the local police.... Parking in the small lot at the base of the hill and just off the interstate is fine, ...
What are you afraid of?
What is the mighty US Army afraid of? How can this possibly be closed "due to elevated security concerns"? Is there a lot of cheap, surplus 280mm ammo available that could allow it to be warmed up? ...
The path is closed permanently
Keep your eye out as you drive by on the interstate. The path up the hill is closed and will not be opening back up. While there isn’t a gate guard, the nice men and women of Ft Riley will come by ...
