Karamayi has a hoofed wildlife nature reserve, which spans Qitai, Jimsar, Fukang, Qinghe, Fuyun and Fuhai six counties, with a total area of 1.4 10,000 square kilometers. The geographical coordinates are 88°33′ ~90°0′, 44°40′ ~46°0′, and the altitude is 500~1200 meters. The nature reserve was established in 1982 by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region with the approval of the New Deal [1982] 93. The protection objects are mainly wild horses, wild donkeys, goose-throated lizards, wild goats and other hoofed wildlife, as well as the natural environment on which wildlife depends, such as desert plants Populus euphratica, sand-guai dates, shuttles, bells, willow and wild scorpion micro, etc., as well as water resources in the protected area. Karamayri Mountain is located in the middle of the protected area, extending east-west, 90 kilometers long, 20-40 kilometers wide, and about 300 meters high.

Mustangs are the first-level protection animals in China, as precious as giant pandas. The healthy life of the wild horses here, I hope to reproduce well.
