Like the current trade unions, the silk industry developed Nanxun also set up the silk industry club during the Qing Dynasty, and now located at 90 Nanxun South East Street, the current silk industry club was established as an office. The houses of the four elephants, eight cattle, seventy-two golden dogs in the ancient town of Nanxun, most of the halls are named after a certain German hall, maybe to distinguish, the hall of the Silk Industry Assembly Hall is called Duanyi Hall, and the columns in the hall need two people to hold up the 15-meter-high roof. It is said that this is also the tallest hall building in Nanxun. Duanyitang is also spacious and can set up a banquet at most 54 tables. It was the main place for employees of the silk industry in the town to sacrifice silkworm gods and discuss important events. After Duanyitang, there is a building, named Jingxinzhai, now is the place for Pingtan performance. On one side of the Duanyitang there is a small back garden, on the second floor of the garden, you can see the existing part of the entire clubhouse. On the garden wall, you can see the round brick carvings of the eight immortals crossing the sea, but I don’t know if it was there before, or if it was newly carved when repairing the clubhouse.

Nanxun Ancient Town Silk Industry Assembly Hall is the earliest and strongest industry association built in Nanxun Ancient Town, built in the Qing Dynasty. It is the first silk industry association in Huzhou area, mainly to protect the interests of the industry. In 2013, it was listed as the Grand Canal Silk Commercial Building and entered the key cultural relics protection units in the country.

The gate of the Silk Industry Assembly Hall still has a "SILKGUILD" banner. The hall is called "Duanyi Hall", which is a beam-type wooden structure. The roof is a hilltop, 15 meters high. The four pillars in front are rectangular stones. The hall is spacious and high-sweet, and 54 tables can be set up. Every April, the silk industry will hold a meeting here. Hundreds of employees in the town gather to sacrifice the silkworm god and pray for the silkworm. There are two Western-style bungalows built on the north and south sides of the hall as the silk industry primary school office. The building in front of the Silk Industry Assembly Hall burned down at the beginning of the founding of the Republic of China, and other buildings were well protected. It is now the site of Nanxun Town Central School.

I thought that the silk industry club would charge tickets, but I found that I didn't need tickets. It was a place worth visiting. After I entered, I sold silk fabrics and antique tea and leisure buildings. Go in again, there are people performing shows inside, a bunch of local elderly people watching, tourists can also sit down and watch for free. There is also a garden inside, with rockery, running water, pavilions, promenades, ancient buildings, tree-lined, anyway, it is very beautiful.
