Saigon Tianhou Ancient Temple is a century-old temple, originally a local faith center, praying for the safety of the local fishermen to go to sea. Now there are many foreign people come to visit it. Nearby, it has become a popular tourist attraction, and it is a famous landmark of Saigon.
There are two Qiu clan temples in Nam Wai, Sai Kung, but no Cheng clan temple, and there is also an ancient Tin Hau temple. The Nanwei Tin Hau Temple is a privately owned temple with a history of more than 300 years. In addition to worshipping Mazu, the Tin Hau Temple also worships the water god Shui Xian Ye. In the past, villagers would worship Shui Xian Ye after returning from fishing. Mazu and Narcissus bless the people of Nanwei with good weather and good harvests.
The Sai Kung Tin Hau Temple is located on Po Tung Road in the centre of Sai Kung District. It was listed as a Grade II historic building on December 18, 2009.
The Fo Tang Mun Tin Hau Temple is the oldest Tin Hau temple in Hong Kong and one of Hong Kong's Grade I historic buildings. Every year, many believers come to worship at Tianhouda. A must-go for tourists, a must-check-in You must go there~~
