📌Travel Tips:
⭕️Lover's Bridge is a Shek O landmark, only wide enough for two people. At the end of the bridge is Tai Tau Chau, offering a panoramic view of Shek O. It's also a popular spot for sunrise and sunset views in Hong Kong.
⭕️Nathan Road is a must-visit for Hong Kong movie fans, with films like "Infernal Affairs" and "As Tears Go By" shot here. Visit Tsim Sha Tsui in the morning and Mong Kok in the evening.
⭕️The Tian Tan Buddha, featured in "Infernal Affairs," stands 30 meters tall and is quite impressive. At sunset, visit the simple Tai O Fishing Village for a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
⭕️Star Ferry operates from 07:20 to 23:00, with departures every 10 minutes. Sit on the second floor for less than HKD 10 and enjoy the stunning views of Victoria Harbour—it's a great deal!
⭕️The famous Central is located on Queen's Road. Many Hong Kong dramas are filmed here, and Lo Ta-yu even wrote a song about it. There are also many galleries in the area.
The cruise ship retains the classic green and white hull, and the teak deck is full of nostalgia. During the 25-minute Victoria Harbour cruise, the second-floor open-air seats have the best view, where you can enjoy the skyscrapers and sunset on both sides of the strait. There is no catering service on board, so remember to bring your own drinks. It is one of the best ways to experience the style of old Hong Kong.
The Star Ferry, with a century-old history, is a long-standing means of transportation in Victoria Harbor, Hong Kong, traveling between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula. The Star Ferry is one of the must-visit transportation in Hong Kong, along with the Hong Kong Ding Ding Bus and the Peak Tram. The Star Ferry has three piers: Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier, Central Star Ferry Pier, and Wan Chai Star Ferry Pier. The fare is very cheap, and you can enter smoothly with your Octopus card. It is so convenient to travel to and from Victoria Harbor! Everyone must come and check in!
From Kowloon Peninsula to Hong Kong Island, the slowly moving Star Ferry is one of Hong Kong's most beautiful business cards! Every time I go to the Convention and Exhibition Center for an exhibition, it is more economical to stay in Kowloon. In the morning, I take the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier to Wan Chai Pier opposite; facing the breeze of Victoria Harbor, looking at the tall buildings in the distance, showing the style of a metropolis!
Exit L5 in Tsim Sha Tsui and you will see the bustling Harbour City. Not far ahead is the Star Ferry, which is a beautiful sight in Victoria Harbour. The price is super affordable, only HKD 2.7. You can use Octopus cards or buy tickets at the self-service machine next to it, which is very convenient. Go to Central, sit on the ancient Star Ferry, cruise in Victoria Harbour, and enjoy the high-rise buildings on both sides, feeling the gentle sea breeze. It's so comfortable! It won't take long to reach the opposite side, which is the famous Central Ferris Wheel. You can go and take a ride, it's very cheap. There is also a carousel, and there is a No. 15 bus next to it that goes directly to the Victoria Peak Observation Deck, which is very convenient!
The Star Ferry is a ferry, and is a very cost-effective option for touring Victoria Harbor by sea. There is a self-service ticket machine that accepts 10-dollar and 20-dollar notes and all coins. You can also go to the counter to pay with WeChat to buy ferry tickets. During the day, adults are 4 Hong Kong dollars, and senior citizens and children are 2.8 Hong Kong dollars. At night, adults are 5 Hong Kong dollars, and senior citizens and children are 2.9 Hong Kong dollars. It is a round trip from the Star Ferry Pier in Central to Tsim Sha Tsui. It is very worthwhile. When you arrive in Tsim Sha Tsui, you can visit the Avenue of Stars, and then take the ferry back the same way.
