Hong Kong 2025 (4 Days 3 Nights)
First time visiting Hong Kong with my family! We traveled with 4 adults, 2 kids, and 1 senior, equipped with both a stroller and a wheelchair. It was quite a challenging trip, but I wanted everyone in the family to be happy, so I endured! Everything turned out fine in the end 😂
We booked our flights and accommodation through Trip.com—it was super convenient and easy.
For this trip, we stayed at The Perkin Hotel. The hotel was clean and convenient, but not very suitable for families with strollers or wheelchairs due to the many stairs at the entrance.
Day 1: Upon arrival, we tried Ki’son Roasted Goose, which was close to our hotel. The BBQ pork was delicious, the goose was okay, but the chicken was better back home in Thailand 😆
After eating, we took a bus to the Star Ferry and enjoyed a ferry ride across the harbor. Then, we headed to the Peak Tram. It was quite crowded on the day we visited, and we had to wait in line for about half an hour. Once we got to the top, the clear skies made the effort worthwhile.
After descending, we went to Dim Sum Here for dinner. We took the ferry back to the Tsim Sha Tsui area and then hopped on a bus to the restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious, though the restroom was a bit disappointing—but still manageable.
We pre-ordered egg tarts from The Bakehouse earlier in the day and picked them up in the evening. They were incredibly tasty, though I imagine they’d be even better if eaten warm 🤤
Next, we went to Master Congee. Their liver congee was quite good.
Day 2: We spent the entire day at Disneyland! Don’t forget to catch the fireworks show—it’s absolutely spectacular.
Day 3: We joined a temple tour, which was very convenient as we didn’t have to figure out the routes ourselves. We visited five temples, and the tour was especially accommodating for families with strollers and wheelchairs.
Day 4: On the last day, we took a bus to the HZMB port to catch another bus to Zhuhai. It was very convenient and cheaper than traveling by ferry. The only downside was that the bus was a bit slow, but it was safe, so no complaints 😂
Next time, I’ll make sure to visit more places! There are still so many spots I want to explore.
I hope this short review is helpful to readers 🙇♀️
The pier where you board the Star Ferry is also the ferry pier. There is a self-service ticket machine that accepts 10 yuan and 20 yuan notes and all coins. You can also go to the counter to pay with WeChat to buy ferry tickets. There are many people on the pier who promote you to take a yacht tour of Victoria Harbour. It depends on your needs.
one of the must-visit landmark of Hong Kong - very nice harbour skyline!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #sunset#checked-in
The Star Pier (Tsim Sha Tsui) ferry goes to Wan Chai Pier and Central Pier in 10 minutes. You can enjoy the world-famous Victoria Seaview in Hong Kong. The adult ticket is only $3.20.
I like to take the Star Ferry very much. First, the price is really cheap. Second, I can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbour. In fact, there are two Star Wharf, one in Tsim Sha Tsui and the other in Central. It's about 10 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central by Star Wheel. It's very convenient. I especially like to take a trip in the daytime and return in the evening to enjoy the two different views of Victoria Harbour.
Tsim Sha Tsui Star Wharf, often referred to as Tsim Sha Tsui Wharf, formerly known as Kowloon Point Star Wharf, is a ferry wharf of Hong Kong Star Ferry Company located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula near Tsim Sha Tsui Maritime Building and Tsim Sha Tsui Bell Tower. Star Ferry Company provides two routes to Central Wharf and Wan Chai Wharf on the northern coast of Hong Kong Island.
Strictly speaking, the pictures are No. 9 and No. 10 piers in Central. Located near the Ferris Wheel in Central. Central Terminal 9 is the break-up runway terminal used by TVB. The Star Ferry usually uses Terminal 5-6. It's very suitable for taking pictures here. The night view of Victoria Harbour is also good. The pictures taken have a special flavor of Hong Kong opera.
With a ticket price of HKD 4, you can tour Victoria Harbour cheaply, which is great. Now it is even more convenient to buy tickets with Alipay or WeChat.
The Star Ferry Pier is a ferry terminal located in Central, Hong Kong. Its Star Ferry is an important route across Victoria Harbour to Tsim Sha Tsui. When riding the ferry, you can enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Victoria Harbour, especially at night, which is dazzling and shows the beauty of Hong Kong at night. Therefore, taking the Star Ferry to cruise around Victoria Harbour is an indispensable item for visiting Hong Kong.
