This trail connects Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan. It takes about one and a half to two hours to walk the whole way. The trail is very easy to walk on. Except for a short steep section, it is actually flat, which is very suitable for a leisurely walk.
After going down from the Yung Shue Wan Pier, there is a small path, which is the Family Walk. There are many trees beside it. You can see the coast. It connects many scenic spots and villages. There are dense trees and flowers beside it.
The more primitive Lamma Island. Along the way, you will pass by tofu pudding shops, small stores, woods, beaches, and take a detour to see the windmills. The walk is from Yung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan, with a moderate slope and a length of about two hours. I walked and played by myself, and it took more than two hours. Suitable for people who like to walk. It was too late this time, so I didn’t go into the Tin Hau Temple. I will go next time~
The Family Trail is a non-difficult hiking trail that runs through the South Island from the two piers of Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan. There are many restaurants, bars and other specialty shops along the way for tourists to rest and eat. There is also a holiday village near Hung Shing Beach. Two hours is enough for both playing and resting.
The scenery on Lamma Island is actually quite good. The road from Hung Shing Yeh Beach is quite beautiful, but we were in a heavy thunderstorm, so the scenery was really discounted, which was a bit of a waste. In the end, we finished it, but it was a pity that we didn't see any very beautiful scenery and walked in the rain.
The only means of transportation to Lamma Island is the ferry. There are two piers on Lamma Island, one in the south and one in the north, namely Rong Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan. There are ferries from Central and Aberdeen, as well as free boats from Rainbow Seafood Restaurant. In addition, there are no cars on the island, and the mountain roads are narrow and winding, so bicycles are the most common means of transportation. Boarding location: 1. Central Pier No. 9, the boat ride takes about 40 minutes. 2. The pick-up point in Aberdeen is at the public pier next to the Yat Kong Court Waterfront Park, and the boat ride takes about 20 minutes.
