based on 63 reviewsIt's perfect for weekend self-study! You can usually get a seat, and it has a sea view! There are sockets and toilets, so you can stay there all day! Just scan the Leave & Go Safe ID when you enter the door, and you don't need to check your ID if you don't borrow books. You need to bring your own water, but there is a cafe downstairs! You can buy some and bring it upstairs. Free🆓 Very quiet, good study atmosphere I won't say much about the best location in case I can't get it myself in the future The transportation is also very convenient, just 400 meters walk from Causeway Bay MTR station. There are also many places to eat, drink and shop nearby

As a traveler, you can get a glimpse of local life by visiting the library. The exterior is as grand as a department store, and it exudes the bookish atmosphere of Hong Kong people from the inside out.
It’s a great place to relax during holidays, suitable for friends, couples, parents and children. Different exhibitions will be launched from time to time. You can go to the public library website to learn more.
If you have plenty of time in Hong Kong and like to read quietly, I recommend going to the Central Library in Causeway Bay. Take the elevator up and experience this charming library. The second floor is the children's area, which is colorful and has cartoons, more like a children's toy area. The third floor is the adult lending area, with various Chinese and English books and a multimedia library. Going upstairs are some collection rooms and office areas, which are not very convenient to visit.
The Hong Kong Central Library is located in Causeway Bay, just south of Victoria Park. Although the exterior of the building is not particularly grand, the interior is still very rich. Because I brought my child there, I went to see the children's facilities. Although the books are a bit old, they are well maintained. There are also many enlightenment books on humanities and natural sciences, which I can't put down. There is also an area for children's activities, which needs to be booked in advance.
There are abundant books, reading is free, and the place is very large. The settings of tables and chairs are also human-oriented. The facilities and equipment management is relatively perfect. People who read books abide by the discipline very much. Quiet, free WIFI, bags, water cups, anything can be brought into the West, without any certificates, no matter who you are, equality before knowledge.
Opposite Victoria Park, the exterior is nice. Hong Kong young people go to work and students go to school, only the elderly hang out near the library. Therefore, the opening time is relatively late, at 10:00, and I couldn't wait so I didn't go in. I only saw some elderly people doing morning exercises. However, there was a flag-raising ceremony, which was nice.
