Paid for parking and then found out the hide we were going to was closed.
The reason for only 3 in the rating is solely down to one reason. We are birders and went to Holkham to walk along the path where the hides are. This takes some time so we purchased the 4 hour ticket ...
Beautiful location,lovely stroll on raised footpaths through gorgeous woodland that fills the air with pine cone perfume , the beach is vast and wide with large dunes before the coast arrives in style...

Not far from Lord Nelson's birthplace, you can sense how the sea influences life here. Best if you have waterproof shoes or boots. Lots of birds to watch, too.

Amazing views and walks. Parking all day £10 is expensive but plenty of spaces. Long walk to the see so good walking shoes are a must.
