This is a very pleasant park next to the Museum of History. It will be even better when the blossoms are out.

A lonesome amphitheatre and a somewhat large park

The amphitheatre makes for a nice little cover when the rain starts falling and a great meeting spot while the park offers plenty of leisure space for any activity you fancy.

It was a little warmer Sunday, but it was quiet. It's usually a lively park with families with children, but probably because of the influence of the new coronavirus, the lawn square in the center was sparse.

I think the Shirotopia Expo was about 30 years ago, but the site at that time has become a green park and is a beautiful place overlooking Himeji Castle. It was a fairly large park on the north side of Himeji Castle. Tourists were concentrated on the south side, so it seemed that most locals were spending weekends with their families. It was a warm day when the autumn leaves began, but it was a warm day, so I was able to take a leisurely stroll.
