    Tomeisugi is a cedar tree located in Hidaka Village, Takaoka County, Kochi Prefecture. It is designated as a natural monument and grows in the precincts of Komura Shrine. It is said that the tree is over 1,000 years old, and it is a giant tree with a height of 31.5m and a trunk 8.1m. The lower part is an ordinary cedar, but the upper part is a rare tree with peony cedar leaves, and is valued as a sacred tree of Komura Shrine. It is said that a large spirit fire was lit on the top of the cedar during emergency events such as floods, earthquakes, and wars. ...

    The national treasure Shintai is enshrined at a historic shrine built in 586 and will be released once a year on November 15th. You can worship slowly on the approach to Senbonsugi. The image will also be uploaded.
