The National Museum of Finland

The National Museum of Finland is located in central Helsinki, just a 3-minute walk from the Parliament building. The museum has a medieval church-like appearance. It is a building that combines ancient Finnish churches and castles. It was designed by three Finnish architects. There is a statue of a stone bear at the entrance of the museum, which has become one of the symbols of the National Museum of Finland. On the ceiling of the entrance hall of the museum is a large fresco painted by Galen Carrera inspired by the epic poem "Kalevala".
