PROS * Exact historical location of the arms factory and storage from 1799-1859+ * Now a green grassy area between the train station and John Brown's Fort * Current location of the John Brown Monument...
The actual buildings are long gone, but the stone markers provide a bit of visual impact. It's worth a quick stop...but only if you pause to read the accompanying signage and learn of the significance...

It's just stones on the ground where the outline of the old arsenal was but nice perspective so you can place where everything was back in the day. Not much else to say. Two min stop, take photos and ...
Hard to imagine how it looked like 150 years ago. But, it had good signs that were interesting to read. Lots of little museums and activities within a 10 minute walk.
