Ice and Snow World Travel Guide | Read the precautions and have no regrets
I went with my mom on January 8th.
First, let's talk about tickets🎫:
I took my mom because it's her birthday this month🎂
So my goal was definitely to make sure she had a good time without any regrets.
I decided to buy VIP tickets from the start.
It wasn't until the 7th that I managed to get them, which was really thrilling...
-
Next, the itinerary:
We played from 12:30 to 17:30, a total of 5 hours.
We went straight to the VIP lane for the big slide and finished in 5 minutes.
We had a photo appointment at 13:00📷 and finished at 15:00.
We took a break at the coffee station, which was packed with people and had very few seats available.
Some people could only sit on the ground by the window.
It was warm inside, offering hot drinks☕️, sausages, and Kanto-boiled food.
To be honest, the food and drinks were really bad...
But there was no choice, we needed something hot to warm up because it was very cold outside.
At 16:00, we watched the Harbin Ice Show. You can't imagine the queue outside.
The wait time started at over 4 hours.
The Harbin Ice Show has only four shows a day: 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00.
With our VIP tickets, we could enter 10 minutes in advance.
The center of the stage was reserved for us, giving us a great view.
The Harbin Ice Show lasted 45 minutes and was definitely worth watching.
-
By the time we finished watching the Harbin Ice Show, it was already dark.
The ice lanterns were lit up and looked especially beautiful.
We took some photos and then left because it was too cold.
Around 5:30, we took a taxi🚗 from the south gate.
The taxi driver🚕 didn't use the meter and asked us for 40 yuan to the restaurant location.
-
There are restaurants inside the Ice and Snow World, but we didn't go in.
The toilets inside had long queues, and we used the ones inside the Harbin Ice Show.
I suggest drinking less water, otherwise, you'll be queuing forever.
-
🧣Dress advice:
Warmth, warmth, and more warmth.
Don't be misled by those girls on the internet wearing just underwear👙 and vests.
The Ice and Snow World is located in a remote area with all ice sculptures, so you must wear more.
Check out my previous share on Northeastern attire, you can't miss any of it.
After all, keeping healthy on a trip is the key to having fun.

⚠️Key points:
✅If you're taking the elderly or children, make sure you have a good plan.
If you're just there to look around and play casually, the very Buddhist kind, then it doesn't matter.
But you can give up on the big slide and the Harbin Ice Show.
✅If you want to avoid the peak, I suggest going after the New Year, there are really too many people now.
There's no need to join the crowd.
✅If you don't have enough budget, just buy VIP tickets.
This way it's much more relaxed and you can play everything.
~
🔥Photo Tips📷
✅Wear light-colored down or fur coats.
✅Hats: Fur hats are better, they have a snowy country style.
They look good in photos and it's best if they can cover your ears for warmth.
✅Scarves🧣: Red, blue, white all look good.

The park has 2 zones which require separate tickets to enter. The subway station is right in front so it's quite convenient to come. Better to come here on weekdays, not weekends, summer vacation or public holidays to avoid the crowd. The park is clean and well managed so you can spend at least 2-3 hours and especially the kids will enjoy it. However, I still think the entrance fee is a bit too high.
The service is very good. Especially the lady at the lemur department. She is very considerate. She will remind guests to store their clothes. She will also tell children stories about the animals. I highly recommend it. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Children are admitted based on height, not age.

Accompanying the children to see the penguin Taoxue, bought two-day tickets for the polar pavilion, aquarium, and penguin pavilion. To go, the queue time will be shorter. At that time, I chose three main performances I wanted to see - the dolphin theater, the beluga theater and the Antarctic penguin pavilion. Be optimistic about the performance time, interspersed with the viewing time, and enter 40 minutes in advance. The possibility of finding a seat is relatively large. The performance of the Dolphin Theatre is more interesting to intersperse the actor's performance and animal performance as a story. The beluga performance is quite romantic and pleasant. Taotao's exhibition time is at penguin lunch and dinner time, the breeder while feeding penguin snacks while answering various questions of children, some also tell some interesting things, children like it very much, very happy time. The three museums are separate entrances and exits, need to be entered separately, and there are some other animals inside, which are quite cute. Overall, the Polar Museum is worth a visit.
Harbin Ocean Park Polar Hall is very convenient for transportation. The subway goes directly to the exit. It is divided into four separate halls: Taoxue Penguin Hall, Aquarium, Dinosaur Hall, Polar Hall. You can buy tickets separately or you can buy joint tickets! Taoxue Penguin Museum: There are net red penguins carrying schoolbags, really cute! Here you can know the life habits of penguins and see many little penguins! Polar Museum: There is a world-class white whale show - angel kiss, it is really amazing! Beautiful, you must see!
Follow the re-employment to visit Harbin. The Polar Hall is not big, there are two performances, there are not many animals but it is very lively, and it can be seen that the breeding is very good. Plus the performance and watching the animals, you can finish it in a small half day. The beluga performance was very exciting and successfully saw the heart of the sea. It is recommended to give the polar bears in the museum a psychological guidance, which is a bit rigid. In addition, don't put the lions in the aquarium, it's not like the other.
The Polar Pavilion and the Dinosaur Pavilion are together, and the Aquarium and the truant Penguin Pavilion are separate. The aurora show, dolphin show, and beluga show in the polar hall are all worth watching. Many people must enter in advance. There is a warm pirate show before the dolphin show. It is also very beautiful. The aquarium has a walrus show. The interaction is very fun. You have to bring an umbrella in the middle. The water dance show is also good. The salmon show is more random. I didn’t see it. I’m sorry that ~ I entered the door to collect faces. The package is valid for two days. You can do a good job in advance. I saw the show. The ticket checker lady is very good. The service staff is wearing uniforms. If you have any questions, please consult at any time. The attitude is very good. I have patience. ~ Polar Hall Aurora Show can buy a seal. Puzzle, you can look at the exhibition and find the stamp machine, like treasure hunt, children have a sense of participation ~ Penguins, polar bears, Arctic wolves, aquariums, seals, water dolphins, flamingos ~ There are many venues and many animals. At least one day to play more and see more, worth the fare ~
The beluga performance is worth a visit, very beautiful, and the programming is gripping. Inadequacies, there were also people sitting in the aisle when the show opened, and no one managed it. There are a large number of staff in the entire polar museum, who can always find inquiries and questions and are very patient and gentle. The experience is very good 👍, the cool and beautiful place to enjoy in the summer, no matter how young children and the elderly can rest assured to enjoy happy time in the museum! P1P2 Beluga show, P5 cloned Arctic wolf and its surrogate mother bit dog,
