A guide took us here, or we would otherwise have missed them. The falls a nothing spectacular, but they are in a very nice setting, and unusually, behind/on the grounds of a shrine.

大きな滝ではありませんが、きれいに二つに分かれて滝壺に落ちています。隣の神社のお祭りでは、水浴びに使われるようです。

白瀑神社にある滝

円仁が開祖と伝わる白瀑神社にある滝です。この滝に比類なく神聖なものを感じて不動尊を彫刻したと言われているようで、そのとおりたっぷりとした水量の滝は周囲の緑とともに清冽さを感じさせてくれます。
