Amazing. Fall colors in this route are so beautiful! Less crowded and scenic drive. Beautiful views from continental divide. Will go again in summer.
Fall scenic ride
Beautiful drive from Buena Vista to Taylor Park. We took our motorcycle on this trip. Rode is paved and in good condition.

The views are stunning, both during the winding drive and at the summit viewpoint! So cool that it’s on the continental divide. Non-hikers will be grateful that the short trail to the summit viewpoint...
Gorgeous by-way in Colorado
While many cyclists lament the paving of Cottonwood Pass, as do I, it hasn't diminished the views. A fabulous tour on bike or in car between Buena Vista and Crested Butte in summertime. Not to be miss...
Amazing ride on a cycle
A nice ride out of Buena Vista on a paved road to Cottonwood pass at 12,126 ft. There is then a nice hike to the summit viewpoint. Take some water. The views are well worth the trip.
