Aldo Leopold worked hard to establish the Gila Wilderness as the first one in the US. The views, especially to the north, are expansive, and of course, a pit stop is always welcome on a long drive.

This rest stop has covered picnic tables. The views are very nice. The restrooms however are usually not very clean at all.
