Tanjung Piai National Park

Tanjung Piai is a cape in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the southernmost point of Peninsular Malaysia and thus the most southern point of mainland Eurasia.The skyline of Singapore is visible across the Johor Strait from the point. It features seafood restaurants, perched on wooden jetties that are surrounded by a rugged and rarefied coastline of unspoiled mangrove forests.

I love being in the mangroves area as there are many hidden insects and wild life....i had the opportunity to volunteer planting the mangroves trees for a mangroves tree planting initiative at the muddy shores....I hope the trees grew well...

Surrounding the mangrove forest, looking around the forest from the lookout tower, camping and fishing. There are many animals that you can see here including, sea snails, birds, crabs and puffer fish. So, this park is very suitable for those who love nature.

The Tanjung Piai National Park area which is 1 hour 20 minutes drive from JB is usually not a popular place for families. Those who come here are usually school, university or government groups who want to see this mangrove swamp area to increase their knowledge. The Tanjung Piai area gazetted as a National Park is over 900 hectares in size.

Great place to look at these amazing trees, need to walk about 500 m to get to the southernmost tip of mainland asia
