Spending three nights in Fuji is definitely worth it if you want to experience Mount Fuji from different angles and in various lighting conditions. Mornings offer crisp, clear views, while evenings can bring dramatic sunsets. Staying longer also allows you to explore Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone, and hidden viewpoints without rushing. Plus, weather can be unpredictable, so extra days increase your chances of catching the perfect Fuji view!
plenty of places to view Mount Fuji from. Loved the scenery, a dream come true to have seen it in person! Read the weather forecast beforehand to ensure best possible view.
climbed before it opened officially in order to avoid the crowds of tourists but should’ve booked the rest house cuz of wind and cold
The Fuji Five-Eye is a bit similar to Everest Base Camp (which is much lower, of course), at the junction of the snow line, and the car is here, and it is about to hike. It is also the last service area before climbing, where energy and supplementary resources can be accumulated, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, post offices, souvenir shops, horse riding, parking lot, bathrooms, etc. are all available. Japan highly respects Mount Fuji, and considers climbing Mount Fuji to be an extremely great thing. Many practitioners have climbed the top of the mountain, and the oldest is a 105-year-old old man. There is a viewing platform built along the hillside, with the names of the local landmarks on the picture. The sea of clouds is very spectacular.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Mount Fuji and was fortunate to experience clear, breezy, and chilly weather. The view was absolutely mesmerizing, with a bird's eye perspective of the surrounding cliffs, hills, and mountains. The ascent offered breathtaking panoramas that felt almost surreal. Mount Fuji itself was stunning, with its distinct brown soil creating a striking contrast against the clear sky. The serene atmosphere and natural beauty made the visit an unforgettable experience.
Very cool, unforgettable place. I felt refreshed when I saw it and it is way more huge than i thought! It is worthy to visit Mt.Fuji.
Mount Fuji is simply beautiful. Had a chance to witness the beauty of it from Lawson, Lake Kawaguchi and Oshino Hakkai!
My visiting to Mount Fuji was a dream come true, but also a mix of awe and reality checks. The journey from Tokyo to the base of the mountain started with high anticipation, and when Fuji’s majestic peak finally came into view, it was truly breathtaking. Arriving at the Fifth Station, I was met with a bustling tourist hub. While the shops and restaurants were convenient, the commercial aspect somewhat diminished the natural beauty and serenity we have hoped for. The crowds were significant!
