The Irish Village, Al Garhoud

An old favorite among Dubai's many bars, the Irish Village is well-loved for a simple reason. Wooden benches, cobblestones, a garden-like setting and the in-store duck pond combine to create a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, providing a place to relax for commuters after a hard day, families hanging out and bar regulars for a drink. The bar is better known for its mellow ales and delicious fish and chips made with Guinness. The Irish Village also hosts a wide variety of entertainment, with live performances by both in-house bands and bands invited from afar. In addition, the Hopfest beer festival is held every August, and large screens are placed for customers to watch major sporting events.
