I love this church! Not only it is a historic landmark, but it’s quite majestic as well, making it one of the must-see attractions in Legaspi. To make things even better, the church offers a beautiful view of the famed and legendary Mayon Volcano. Personally, I think it’s one of the best places to enjoy a view of this nationally celebrated natural wonder.
Daraga Church is a church built with volcanic rocks. It is located at a high place and is the best place to appreciate Mayon Volcano. The view is wide and the perfect shape of the volcano is very beautiful. The church and the volcano complement each other and coexist harmoniously. Nature is so wonderful.
This church is very famous locally, but it takes a long slope to reach it. It faces the Mayong Volcano. There is a cafe near the church where you can enjoy the volcano while drinking coffee. It is very comfortable!
I was so surprised that I couldn't believe the sight in front of me. I saw the tall and straight Mayon Volcano (2421 meters) standing majestically under the blue sky and white clouds in the suburbs. The top of the mountain was tightly covered by thick clouds like cotton balls, but the almost completely symmetrical conical lines on both sides of the mountain were clearly visible. It is worthy of being praised as the most perfect volcanic cone in the world. Although the distance is about 10 kilometers, because the mountain is huge and the entire city is basically dominated by low-rise bungalows, the hotel is already a standout, so the view is unobstructed and the whole road is flat.
The church is very beautiful against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. When I went to the church, there happened to be an event going on, so I went in and sat for a while. I also got a piece of something I don’t know. In addition, this is also a good place to view Mayon Volcano.
