I went there purely to see the pandas. The environment was nice, large, and quiet, with no strong smells. There was also an amusement park and a Ferris wheel near the entrance, and a large plaza with a flock of pigeons.
Compared to other popular zoos, Dalian Zoo offers a great option where you don't have to queue to see the pandas. The facilities and services are also relatively high-quality, and the zoo boasts a wide variety of animals, making it a great destination for animal lovers. However, please note that there are two separate shuttle bus routes for the predator enclosure and the free-range area, requiring you to pay twice for each ride. Each ticket costs 20 yuan.
The Dalian Forest Zoo is well worth a visit! The environment is beautiful, and the animal species are diverse. The free-range area is particularly unique, offering a close-up experience for viewing the animals. The venue is well-designed, with clear routes, making it easy to visit with children. However, some facilities are a bit dated, so it's recommended to avoid peak holiday times. Overall, it's a fun and educational destination perfect for families.
Dalian Forest Zoo: A gentle dialogue with life was carried to Dalian Forest Zoo by girlfriends last Saturday. I thought it was a regular punch card, but the experience of being "alcove" by a deer in the free-range area completely changed my stereotype of the zoo. [Healed moment: animal initiative close] While feeding giraffes in the "Africa", I lifted the leaves and stomped, suddenly a warm nose gently rubbed the back of my hand. The giraffe, called "cloud", actually took the initiative to lower its head, lashes in the sun to cast a fan-shaped shadow. The breeder said that it usually only close to tourists wearing light-colored clothes, and I happened to wear a beige sweater that day. This wonderful experience of being selected by animals is more worth reminiscent of any net red punch card. [Disruption of cognition: It turns out that animals also have "social fear"] in front of the glass curtain wall of the primate hall, I witnessed a daily routine of "social fear" chimpanzees. As other companions turned heads in front of tourists, the "little gray" in the corner was carefully digging ant hole with branches. The breeder revealed that it was rescued from childhood and remains vigilant to humans. This unintentionally ingratiating state of survival, but let me see the most authentic look of life. [Details control ecstasy: small eggs hidden in the park] · The glass wall of the Polar Bear Hall has a built-in circulating water curtain, which can both maintain indoor temperature and simulate glacier flow. The sandpit of the Elephant Hall is buried. Large pieces of frozen fruit, watching them rummage with their noses like playing a treasure hunt game. Even the trash cans are designed to be shaped like tree holes, and occasionally squirrels jump up to "check" [Real experience of slots: those not perfect moments] · The light in the Penguin Hall is too dark, Mobile phones can't take pictures of their swaying cuteness. The sightseeing bus route in the beast area is a bit short, and it has been opened just after lifting the camera. Wenchuang ice cream is 25 yuan, but the panda shape is indeed more realistic than other scenic spots. [Write to you who are going to go] It is recommended to avoid the peak of the weekend morning tour, and the beast area will be more active after 3 pm. If you are as easy to soft-hearted as I am, remember to buy an animal feed package at the entrance (20 yuan/piece), which can be safely fed and supported in the park construction. Sitting in the shade of the elephant showground, watching the sunset plating the gold edge on the African grassland area, suddenly realized that this is not a cold cage, but a "second hometown" built by humans for animals. When the deer stared at me with wet eyes, I read the trust in it perhaps that’s the best way to get along with animals.
I came to Dalian specifically to see the Liu Yifei Feiyun of the panda world. Feiyun is really pretty, and is known as King Kong Barbie. Jinhu is very afraid of her. Feiyun's beating of Jinhu has become a legend in the panda circle. There is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient. But it was very windy that day and it was very cold, so please keep warm!
I went to Dalian Forest Zoo some time ago, and the experience was amazing! As soon as you enter the park, you will be greeted by a fresh and natural atmosphere. The park is built according to the terrain, and the natural scenery and animal displays are cleverly integrated. The walking area and the driving area are divided reasonably, so you can take a leisurely walk to see primates, birds and other cute little things, and you can also take a car to watch the beasts and feel a different kind of excitement. There are a variety of animals here, such as the honest brown bear, the elegant giraffe, and the clever red panda. The venues of each animal try their best to restore their natural habitats, and you can see the staff's intentions. The park's popular science is also very well done, and the animal introduction signs are detailed and interesting. After a round of walking, the children not only had fun, but also learned a lot of knowledge. Moreover, the rest area and dining area in the park are reasonably distributed, so there is no need to worry about fatigue and hunger during the play. Of course, if there are more signboards, it will be more friendly to tourists with poor directions. But the flaws do not outweigh the merits. Dalian Forest Zoo is really a great place to get close to nature and interact with animals. It is very suitable whether it is a parent-child trip, a date, or a gathering of friends. It is highly recommended!
During the epidemic, a health code is required. You can enter the free-range area on Binhai West Road. You can get a tour guide at the door. You didn't take an electric car the whole time. You brought your own stroller. There are many animals in the free-range area. There are crocodiles in the tropical rainforest reptile house, baby tigers in the small animal village, giant panda house, zebras, giraffes, alpacas, camels, kangaroos, swans, black bears, Siberian tigers, and lions. You can take the elevator to the captive area. First, I watched the elephant show, which was very interesting. Then I went to the Crane Garden Bird Park and the Polar Hall, where there were penguins and polar bears, golden monkeys, vultures, bears, leopards, and wolves. Then I returned to the free-range area, passing by the Monkey Island and the Primate Garden, where there were chimpanzees and baboons, as well as various monkeys. I strolled from the opening of the park in the morning until it closed at 4 o'clock.
Business hours: 8:30 to 4:00 ◎Is it better to enter from the south gate or the north gate? 1. Enter from the south gate and exit from the north gate Pros: The terrain is flat and you won’t feel tired when you visit. You will see the Giant Panda Pavilion, the Rainforest Reptile Pavilion, the Monkey Mountain, and then enter the free-range area. The small beast area in the free-range area is separated by glass, which does not block your view and is convenient for visiting. Cons: It is uphill to go to the enclosure area after passing the big beasts, and you have to climb the stairs all the time, which is quite tiring. And it is easy to get tired when you get to the enclosure area, so you have to take a tour bus to visit the enclosure area, which costs 20 yuan/person. After leaving the park, if you want to go back to the roadside to take the bus, you need to walk a long way, which is expected to take 15-20 minutes. If you can’t walk, you have to take the bus provided by the park, which costs 10 yuan/person. 2. Enter from the north gate and exit from the south gate (my route) Pros: You will enter the enclosure area as soon as you enter the gate, and the performances are all in the enclosure area. There are two performances. Elephant Behavior Show Five shows on weekends at 10:30/12:00/13:00/14:00/15:30 Happy Theater Four shows on weekends at 10:00/11:00/13:00/15:00 It takes about 12-15 minutes to walk from the Elephant Behavior Show Hall to the Happy Theater, so you can catch two shows with similar schedules. And it is downhill from the captive area to the free-range area, which is more labor-saving. And it is 2-3 minutes walk to the bus station, which is convenient for transportation. Disadvantages: When visiting the big beast area from the captive area to the free-range area, the view will be blocked by the iron plate, which is not convenient for observation. If you don't grasp the time well, you may not be able to reach the giant panda hall and reptile hall before the closing time of 4:00. ◎Each venue is not large, so it doesn't take too much time. ◎Food in the park is expensive, so it is recommended to bring a small amount of food. And there are few places selling mineral water in the park, so it is best to bring a few bottles of water. It takes about 3 hours to walk through the captive area (including the performance time) and 2-3 hours to walk through the free-range area. ◎It is not recommended to take the tour bus in the free-range area. The speed is fast and it will be over in about 20 minutes. You may not be able to see all the animals. ◎The flamingos disappeared as soon as you entered the south gate. I suspect that they were moved to the bird forest of Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park, where there are flamingos. But the flamingos are really beautiful. ◎In the free-range area, I was lucky to touch the top of the giraffe's head and the antlers of the fawn. I was so happy. ◎Due to weather reasons, the performance may be suspended. I missed the Happy Theater during my visit. However, this Happy Theater is similar to the Happy Theater in Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park. If you have been there, you don't need to watch it again.
