Ba Na Hills Guide | A Summer Retreat Mixed with Gigantic Structures and a Budget Disney Experience
| A Summer Retreat Mixed with Gigantic Structures and a Budget Disney Experience. Actually, before going to Ba Na Hills, I was hesitant about whether to go or not, since the ticket price is not cheap. However, I saw that the weather was going to be good the next day, so I decided to go with the 'since I'm here' mentality, you know. Well, Ba Na Hills is indeed not bad for taking photos📸, especially since I was initially attracted by the giant hand bridge. But if you're expecting something like Disney or Universal Studios, you might be disappointed because it's quite different. Before it became an amusement park, it was actually a summer retreat near Da Nang, with an altitude difference of 1500 meters, rich in natural resources.

There is no public transportation from Da Nang city to Ba Na Hills, so when booking tickets, you can choose a package that includes a round-trip shuttle bus🚌. Just pick the boarding point nearest to you, which is more convenient. It takes about 1 hour to get there from Da Nang.

Ba Na Hills can be seen as three areas connected by cable cars, divided into lower, middle, and upper mountain areas—
✅Lower mountain area. Mainly the entrance of the scenic area and the cable car station, with some small parks and landscapes for photography in between. However, most people don't stay too long in the lower area and go straight to the cable car.
·
✅Middle mountain area. Where the hand bridge is located. This area is mainly for photography, including the hand bridge, the Fantasy Park, and the white Buddha, all of which are quite photogenic. However, when we went there, there were too many tourists on the hand bridge. We only went to take photos in the afternoon when we were about to leave, and there were much fewer people.
·
✅Upper mountain area. The core area of Ba Na Hills, including the French Village and amusement park, etc. But you can't really look at them in detail. The imitation atmosphere is strong, such as the copied Winter Palace fountain, the Louvre Pyramid, and various churches and castles, which are very similar to the French-style town near Chengdu, with nothing but facades. As for the amusement park, it's not on par with Disney, not even Happy Valley, with mostly very basic amusement park rides. So, don't put too much time into the amusement facilities, taking photos and watching performances might be more suitable.

What actually impressed me the most about Ba Na Hills was the cable car🚡. Not only is it a long ride with a large drop, but there are also multiple cable cars running in parallel, operating different areas, which looks spectacular.
I went to Ba Na Hill a few years ago. I rode a motorcycle for an hour from Da Nang city to BA NA HILL. My hands were numb from the vibrations 😂 But the road was so beautiful that you can’t capture it with your phone! You need to buy a ticket to go up Ba Na Hill. The Internet-famous bridge is right on top. If you travel to Da Nang, you can go and see it!
Value for Money. Weather was not great though but still enjoyed the place.
This is our first time to visit Bana Hills on the 27 of February 2025….The place was really amazing….when you ride the cable car you can enjoy the beautiful views and waterfalls…all of the place we really love it…The sad things are the time we visited there, the weather not really friendly, there’s almost all white the whole outside scenery that we can’t even see it clearly because of the clouds especially the most important views of the golden bridge….But it was great so even though…we really enjoy it…I would like to visit there again when summer if there’s a chance hehehe
Great trip! Nice weather with clear sky. Went in March. Buddha hand was crowded in the morning. Go buddha bridge after 3pm, lesser people. Many photos opportunies. The theme park is fun, many fun rides (free inclusive in our admission fee). No need buy buffet lunch at the entrance, same price at the restuarant. There are other buffet restuarants at the same price inside.
Pana Mountain is one of the most famous attractions in Da Nang and a summer resort in Vietnam. It is located 40 kilometers west of Da Nang and is 1487 meters above sea level. You can take the world's longest single cable car from the foot of the mountain to the peak. The cool breeze inside the cable car, the virgin forest at your feet, feels very good. The top of Mount Pana is a French town with many old buildings, and I think the most charming one is the church. To sum up Mount Pana in one sentence, a summer house built on the top of the mountain by the former French colonists has now been converted into an amusement park to sell tickets. There are also many Chinese elements on the top of Bana Mountain. I found a place to sit down and have a cup of tea. The wind bells are bursting, the blue sky and white clouds are very comfortable. The baguette sandwiches and mango ice cream on the top of the mountain are also delicious. Although I don't like the amusement park very much, I feel that the tickets are quite expensive before going up the mountain. But after going up the mountain, I felt that the tickets were very good value. I took the cable car, watched the movie, and experienced the small train. The Buddha Bridge also left, very satisfied. In general, Bana Mountain is worth a visit!
Bana Mountain is very worth a visit, just by cable car is worth it. There are several cable cars, it seems that some are for the guests to sit, not sure. Generally, if you are free, you can find the cable car to take with the crowd. I don't know if you can ask the service staff. I will speak English. The mountain is particularly cool, at least 5 degrees lower than the mountain, and the buildings on the mountain are beautiful and very distinctive. There are snacks and restaurants everywhere on the mountain, as well as drink stalls, don't worry about hunger and thirst, and it's not too expensive, there is no need to buy a buffet. The whole Bana Mountain has to go shopping for a day, as well as rides and 4D movies. In short, it is very suitable for vacation, the elderly and children like it, and the must-visit attractions in Da Nang.
Bà Nà Hills in Da Nang is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning views, cool climate, and unique attractions. The highlights include the Golden Bridge, a striking pedestrian bridge held up by giant stone hands, the French Village with its European-style architecture, and the Linh Ung Pagoda, which offers serene surroundings and cultural insight. Visitors also enjoy the Fantasy Park, an indoor amusement park with various games and rides. The cable car ride to the top provides breath
Really too convenient, basically the same as the domestic ticket issuance, barrier-free passage, QR code recognition entering, really convenient, did not buy a meal, worried that can not find the restaurant, from 9 am to the scenic QR code to enter, it is smooth, cable car, small train casually sit, unlimited cycle, I also watched the cartoon movie of 3D and the excellent scenic spot in the world on the 3rd floor. It’s too awkward. I’ll come back next time and prepare to bring Xiaobao to play. Vietnamese version of Disney.
