South Cronulla Beach

Beautiful spot perfect for families. This is a non surfing beach, only open to surfers unless it is closed due to dangerous conditions. The waves hug into South Cronulla. There is a large park with plenty of shade. There are plenty of palm trees and large lawns. It is also a children's park. There is a cafe and fish and chip shop nearby. Zimzala is a beautiful cafe next door to the corner club. It is also great for weddings and special parties. Cronulla RSL has sea views and parks. It has everything you would expect from an RSL, plus bands at the weekends. There is also a high level walking track along the Cronulla coastline. Surrounded by the Cronulla lifestyle.

In my opinion, this is the best beach in Sydney, it is 30 km from the CBD and is easily accessible by train. The waves are nice and varied, and it is a sandy beach (Cronulla point and Shark Island). There are also many restaurants near the beach, and it is a good place to spend the whole day.

Cronulla can arrive by train, get off and cross the pedestrian street to the beach (if you go in the opposite direction, wharf can go by boat to bundeena, or Royal National Park). The beach has a good walk. On the day we go, the waves are very big!

Came here to cool down and recuperate after a big spring event. The waves were great for surfing. The water was nicer and clearer than the city beaches. Good facilities. I was lucky with the parking but it was free so can't complain. Close to shops and restaurants. This was my first time and I hope to come back next time. Nice clean soft western sand, clear blue water, safe swimming spots, everything you want for a perfect summer beach. It's a 40 minute walk to the beautiful Hacker River and there is plenty of parking near cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful trees on the beach are often tall and cool. Swimming is complete and free to change clothes and take a shower! ___________
