Picturesque with lots of bird life
Shingle beach just past the main one with a backdrop of gently rolling hills and plenty of bird life. Great for a stroll, especially when the tide is out.
Nice shingle beach
This is a long shingle beach on the other side of the castle headland I only saw it when on my early morning walk but there is a large grassed area in front and I should imagine its popular
Grat for a stroll
The beach is shingle and just great for a shore walk. Take binoculars to enjoy the varied bird and sea life (sometimes sunbathing seals).
Tide in - tide out. Fresh air.. lookout for dolphins.
This is a lovely beach, and more so if your hotel is on the sea front. It's great to hear the waves coming in when you're in your hotel. It was a full moon and the sea just glistened all night long!
