Soon U Ponya Shin Paya

This is the oldest temple on the top of the ancient city of Mandalay. It is said that it was more than 700 years ago. Now it has been repaired. There are Buddha statues on all sides of the central hall. The outside platform can see the scenery of the entire mountain. Still good.

On the top of Shijie Mountain, if you charter a car, you can drive all the way to the top. You don't need to climb the mountain, you can overlook the Yishaowadi River, but the light is too strong at noon, the sunset should be good, no one collects tickets. Very beautiful place.

On Shijie Mountain, you can see the golden pagoda from a long distance. It shines under the sun, and the golden leaves are exquisite and delicate. On the observation deck, you can overlook Mandalay. There are many golden pagodas in the greenery. It is beautiful!

The pagoda, located at the highest point of Shijie Mountain, was built in the 14th century and allegedly contains two Buddha's teeth. There is a golden pagoda bottle outside the pagoda, a large sitting Buddha inside, and a white Buddha wearing a golden fin. Outside the tower is a huge platform, covered with lampstands, which are said to be used for night lighting in ancient times. Standing on the platform, you can see the Irrawaddy River traveling around the river, and at sunset, the sun shines on the river.

From the top of Shijie Mountain, Songwu Peng Naxin Pagoda can see the Mandalay Mountain and the Gongmu Prayer Buddha Pagoda in the distance. The characteristics of the mountaintop temple are colored floor tiles, which are very beautiful. The Buddha statues are served on all sides of the pagoda. There is a large circle of viewing platforms overlooking the Irrawaddy River.
