There is so many tour bus package going to nami island but we decided to take the subway all the way from seoul to gapyeong station and then bus to the ferry station. #fallvibes Location : 1 Namiseom-gil, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea We took a boat to Name island and explore around for about 2 hours. The end of October is the maple leaf season and the scenery is beautiful. We get to see the full beauty of autumn surrounding the island. The scent of trees made me relax and there are squirrels & rabbits running around you. It is a beautiful & romantic place to visit and a must for kdrama lover. For muslim tourist, there is a musollah & halal food on the island.

We heard from our guide that Nami Island is excellent all year but the most popular times are Autumn for the stunning foliage. With the stunning natural beauty of Nami Island, you will get mesmerized. Specially because of the vibrant colors of the leaves during the fall season which gives it a lively atmosphere. A must visit place in Korea!! Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄 🍁Transportation: (personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well) - From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter - Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station - Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000) - Taking the ferry to the island directly —— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲 #namiisland #seoul #korea

#seoultrip When visiting Nami Island, the Moomin exhibition is not to be missed! The Moomin exhibition celebrates the brilliant creations of Tove Jansson, and marks the 50th Diplomatic Relations Anniversary between Finland and Korea. I really enjoyed the Moomin exhibition, it was interactive, fun, colourful and even had many historical details infused into the various exhibits! This was a hit amongst many families and kids! My rating of this attraction: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

Nami Island promises a serene landscape away from the busytling city of Seoul. its on the south of Seoul. With few travel transportations, the island can be reached within 90 minutes. This place is popular among the tourists because it was a spot of Winter Sonata drama one upon a time. It is a fairly big island, so 3-4 hours would be sufficient to cover this place. Apart from taking pictures, there are nice places to eat. Everything is so Winter-Sonata ish here. Do leave time to travel to and fro for the ferry, as it can get very crowded.

Located in Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon. There are two option to get to the island. First one is by taking ferry boat, second one is dedicated to those who seeking for more adrenaline rush, by zip wire. Since it's such a mainstream destination, you can find it easy to get there. There are shuttle bus from Seoul and train as well. Entrance fee is KRW 13,000. I highly recommend you to come in Autumn or Winter as it gets prettier when the leaf started turn to yellow in Autumn or glowing white of snow in winter. No need to worry about the public facility. There's so many restaurant on the island or nearby, and they also provide a mosque for Muslim guest. I've been there in January, when the lake become an ice skate rink.
