We had fun on our daytour at Jinfo Mountain last weekend! It was a snowy week and so we took the chance to see the snow this year. It was Monday but there were so many people but the whole place was huge and we were able to take so many pictures!

Getting There - There is a direct bus from Chongqing long-distance Bus Station to Nanchuan, departing every day from 8:30am till late. From Nanchuan you can find many local buses heading to the mountain. When the sunshine falls on the Grand Jinfo Mountain, it looks like a giant Buddha shining with boundless golden radiance, hence the name. The entire scenic area has two slopes with distinctive attractions for sightseeing. @VickWalks and I spent the entire day trying to find a trail that hasn’t been stepped on for a long time and we failed due to limited knowledge of the mountain landscape of this area. Getting There - Jinfo mountain is located in Nanchuan which is 2 hours away from Chongqing inner city. During the Summer it’s beautiful clear endless sky and in winter there is lots of snow! This scenic hike will definitely be worth the time with cableways to help you to the higher levels.
