Is the Chongqing Liangjiang Cruise worth taking?
As is well known, Chongqing is a magical 8D city. During the day, people climb slopes and take photos at various popular spots, experiencing its three-dimensional space. However, if you don't enjoy the night view, the legendary 8D magical experience will be at least halved.
"If you haven't seen the night view, you haven't been to Chongqing," this is not an unfounded slogan, but a sincere exclamation from many people captivated by Chongqing's night scene.
The best choice to enjoy the night view of the two rivers is undoubtedly taking the Chongqing Liangjiang Cruise. As night falls, the neon lights along the banks of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers light up one by one, and the cruise ship sails between the two rivers.
The stilted buildings of Hongya Cave are stacked layer upon layer, dazzling with colors; the red Qiansimen Bridge's lights dim and brighten with the rhythm of breathing; every few minutes, you can see the light rail shuttling through the belly of the bridge; the night view of the Grand Theatre is orderly and its contours are clear; the Raffles City building stands tall like a raised sail at Chaotianmen Dock; the Yangtze River cableway carries tourists back and forth overhead; the twin skyscrapers shine golden during the day and sparkle with seven colors at night; on the river, the water police driving speedboats add a dynamic touch to the night scene...
The riverside of the mountain city has a gentle evening breeze; and the night scenery is bright and vivid. How can such a beautiful view not be worth a visit?

Holiday travel is indeed a lot of premium, the overall night view is really good, the waiting time in line is quite long, there is no place to sit, the waiting time has no other facilities or ways to adjust the status of tourists, the experience is relatively not so good
My elderly mum enjoyed the cruise ride. It was windy and enjoyable, a short changed face show + some chinese paintings for grabs. It was v crowded on board, no seats hence I think the tickets can be made cheaper for tourists to just cruise around for some pics.
Personally, I think it is better to take a boat on the river to see the night view, but it is better to look good on the shore. Taking pictures by boat is not as good as taking pictures on the shore. The night view of the two rivers is also a bit ok for Hongyadong and Chaotianmen. The 158 ticket feels very unworthy. If you want to see the night view of Hongyadong, it is recommended to walk into the Hongyadong Scenic Area after visiting, and then walk along the trail to the top, from the Qianmenmen Bridge to the other side of the river, the night view is already beautiful, more cost-effective than taking a boat, want to punch in and take pictures of the movie suggest this itinerary. The only thing is to be physically strong, super-feet.
we didn’t really take the ⛴️ because it’s was during the holiday and the lines were too long, but the experience was worth it.we took our 👧 with us to explore the place and all I can say is no regrets at all 🥰
When you come to Chongqing, you must visit the two rivers, the Yangtze River and the Jialing River at night, and see Hongyadong and Raffles City Building. The scenery is really beautiful. If you don’t go, you will have regrets. 😂😂
The river night tour is great! you can see all the beautiful city lights. From the pier there are multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance!
view is worth it and i really enjoyed myself — super nice chilly night to enjoy with friends and family while basking in the atmosphere
