Xue Tao Well, formerly known as Yunujin, is located in Wangjiang Tower Park in Chengdu. Wangjiang Tower Park was built to commemorate the Tang Dynasty poetess Xue Tao, and this well is directly named after Xue Tao. It is said that this is a special well used by the Shu Wang Mansion in the Ming Dynasty to make paper rafts in imitation of Xue Tao's method.
Hahahahahahaha, I knew Xue Tao Well when I was a kid, and then many years passed, I almost forgot about Wangjiang Tower Park, but I still remember Xue Tao Well. I saw it again today, and I was particularly moved. I vaguely remember that this was a tragic love story. Friends who come to Chengdu for tourism can come and check it out.
This attraction is located in the cultural relics protection area of Wangjiang Park. You need to buy a separate ticket to enter, and the ticket price is 20 yuan. I thought the area inside was not large, but I found it was worth it after entering. There are many historical sites related to Xue Tao inside. There is an introduction next to this Xue Tao Well, saying that it was called Yunujin in the past, which is a more sexy name. Now there is a cover on the well and a fence around it. It is probably because they are afraid that there will be too many people who want to drool over the beauty, so it is safer to hide it in the boudoir...
Xue Tao Well is a scenic spot in Wangjiang Tower Park in Chengdu. It is a business card of Chengdu's historical and cultural tourism, along with Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Wuhou Temple. It is a historical site commemorating the Tang Dynasty poetess Xue Tao. There is a stele next to the well with the three characters "Xue Tao Well" written on it, which was written by Yi Yingxiong, the prefect of Chengdu during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. However, it has now been confirmed that Xue Tao Well in Wangjiang Tower Park has no direct relationship with Xue Tao herself, but Wangjiang Tower Park's verdant bamboo paths, pavilions and terraces, and convenient transportation are still worth visiting.
The statue of Xue Tao is an important attraction in Chengdu Wangjiang Tower Park. It is located in the courtyard outside the Xue Tao Memorial Hall. The statue is made of white marble and is particularly beautiful under the shade of green bamboo. It is said that Xue Tao loved bamboo. There are more than 200 kinds of bamboo in Wangjiang Tower Park, which is in line with the temperament and hobbies of the female poet.
Xue Tao Well is a tourist attraction in Chengdu Wangjiang Tower Park. According to legend, the well water is very clear. The talented woman Xue Tao used the water from this well to make paper, which people call "Xue Tao Paper". Of course, this is just a legend, and it is a way for people to commemorate the female poet of the Tang Dynasty.
