Show More ReviewsChengdu University of Technology, originally Chengdu Geological College, was established in 1956. In its early years, its level of expertise in geology-related fields was second only to China University of Geosciences. Therefore, the university had an on-campus museum years ago, housing what was then Asia's largest collection of Mamenchisaurus dinosaur fossils. Later, the museum moved to its current location outside the Erxianqiao campus in Chengdu and was upgraded to the Chengdu Natural History Museum. As a result, it boasts a rich variety of dinosaur fossils and mineral specimens.
