It was a fun place, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a lovely garden walk. But in fact we paid for driving through the park, probably £10. It was frustrating to encounter this before we started playing. We knew the cost meant we could get into 600 acres, but all we wanted to do was visit the house and the garden.
