Other than a couple of decent views from the wall, there isn't anything to do. Don't add it to your must-do list. They have concerts on but unless you're attending one, give it a miss.
We had been here before but this time it was not open and looked in poor repair, withy faded signage and lack of care. A pity as it seems in good structural order and has some history.

The preserved fort has great views of the Atlantic, and a small art gallery. It's near beaches and the university. It's interesting if you're in the area, but I wouldn't say that it's a must-see.
Marvelous fort complex
This fort complex is on the edge of the sea in Cadiz. You can wander about for free. There is a courtyard with a cute black statue of a naked boy.
