This place is too commercialized with all the people coming in here to visit. Toilets are few and whenever you find it, it is filthy. Parking spaces are too few.
We made the mistake of going on a weekend. It was very busy. Could not get a carpark nearby. Lots of people on access steps. Nice area but try mid week if possible.

It was not nice
This place is too commercialized with all the people coming in here to visit. Toilets are few and whenever you find it, it is filthy. Parking spaces are too few.
Nice
Nice area, it is very scenic and a lovely spot for a walk. Path across the hwadlands mixed in with walking across the sand.

Whale watching
Excellent stop on drive between Byron Bay and Gold Coast. Offers striking views and a chance to see migrating whales at right time of the year.
