What travelers say:

The urinating girl is also an important hero in Belgium, compared to the urinating child's story, is also a famous historical event in the world, the flow of water for many years is also the main place for tourists to take pictures, the tours will be free to move around here.

Additional Information

In the early 1600s, Manneken Pis was erected in Brussels, and the fountain of the little boy peeing - and the water coming out his petit pee-pee - became an instant landmark and cultural icon. Now 350 years later, the city decided it needed some gender equality, and commissioned a sculptor to create a female counterpart. In 1987, the Jeanneke Pis was unveiled: a blue-grey limestone statue of a little girl with pigtails in squat position, urinating, a mischievous look planted on her face. Like her brother, she became an instant classic; recently, the fountain has had to be protected by iron bars because of vandalism.
