At the Horta Museum in Brussels you can receive an education about the art noveau style of architecture. This building in which famed Belgian architect Victor Horta once lived and worked was also designed by Horta. Before your visit, you should make a reservation to receive a guided tour in your choice of Italian, French, German, Dutch or English language. The museum, which opened in 1901, encompasses two areas: Horta's living quarters and studio space. You should check your coat and camera at the door before you proceed through the museum, from the basement featuring miniature replicas of Horta's work to the servants' rooms on the top floor.
