Windmill Hill City Farm

This lovely little city farm is tucked away next to the shopping area in Bedminster. It has a cafe, and a small shop selling crafts made by locals, and a smallish number of farm animals, which are rotated over time, but usually contain pigs, ducks, hens, goats, sheep, cows. It neighbours allotments, so you can see those as well, and it has a large greenhouse which grows and sells plants. There are good toilet and handwashing facilities. It's a small area, and not a long visit, but it's a lovely chance to see friendly farm animals in the city, with no admission charge.

Lovely pet farm, a great place to play with young children. Small play area with cobblestones and excavation trucks. It takes only 2-3 hours to stroll through orchards, fairy gardens, woodlands. Quite busy cafes with good snack options. No admission fee, plenty of parking spaces.
