The Nicapetre cultural center is housed by one of the most beautiful buildings in Braila - Casa Embiricos built by brothers Leonidas and Mihail Embiricos, from the Greek island of Andros who founded the National Steam Navigation maritime company in 1908 in Piraeus. In Constanta there is another impressive building built by the two brothers, which unfortunately is currently in a deplorable state.
