On the north side of the Long Corridor in the Summer Palace, near the west end, to the east of the Tingli Pavilion, there is a pavilion facing the lake with its back to the mountain, and a veranda connecting the Long Corridor. This pavilion has red pillars, yellow tiles, an octagonal shape, and three floors. The second floor of the pavilion is surrounded by carved railings, from which you can overlook the mountains and lake. This is the "Mountain and Lake in One Building" inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. The beautiful mountain scenery and the shimmering lake light are gathered in one pavilion by the Creator.

The name of the building, "Mountain and Lake in One Building", was inscribed by Emperor Qianlong, and the plaque is "a piece of jade black lacquer with inscribed gold characters", which is one of the few Qianlong plaques left in the Summer Palace. From here, you can see the lake and mountains, pavilions and towers in one panoramic view.

It's worth going here. Everyone says it's pretty good.
