based on 346 reviewsBeijing World Park: A Magical Journey Through Miniature Worlds – Is it Worth a Visit? As someone who's always dreamed of traveling the world but was always limited by time and budget, I finally checked out Beijing World Park last weekend. What's it like to experience this theme park that claims to offer a "one-day world tour"? Let me take you on a tour. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆ (3.5 stars, worth a try). 🏛️ Highlights: A Condensed Collection of World Wonders The park's most attractive feature is undoubtedly its more than 100 miniature replicas of world-famous landmarks. Entering from the Italian Terrace Garden, you can "travel" across five continents in just a few hours along a meticulously designed route. Impressive Attractions: • The Eiffel Tower, though a miniature version, boasts a stunning nighttime light show; the seven changing colors are irresistible for photos. • The pyramid complex and Sphinx area are beautifully designed to resemble a desert landscape; with the right angle, they can be incredibly lifelike. • The Taj Mahal's reflection in the sunset is breathtaking, and the white marble is remarkably well-reproduced. These miniature landscapes are mostly built to a 1:10 scale, with meticulous attention to detail. For tourists who can't immediately travel abroad to see the real structures, this is a great alternative experience. 🎭 Performances and Activities: Evening Shows are More Exciting I highly recommend visiting in the afternoon, as the evening experience is significantly better than the daytime one. Must-see performances: • Eiffel Tower Light Show (starts at 7:00 PM): The tower changes color periodically, creating a romantic atmosphere. • Intangible Cultural Heritage Iron Flower Show (8:00 PM): 1600℃ molten iron is poured into the sky, creating a dazzling meteor shower effect – definitely worth the ticket price! • Folk Dance Performance: Performed in an art theater, the actors are dedicated, and the costumes are exquisite. ⚠️ Drawbacks: Expectations should be reasonable. Of course, the park also has its limitations: Drawbacks: • Some facilities are somewhat outdated: Some miniature buildings require maintenance; issues include peeling paint and overly dense vegetation obstructing the view. • Limited interactive experiences: Most attractions are only for viewing, lacking immersive experiences. • Average dining options: Although there are several restaurants and snack stalls, the taste and value are average; it is recommended to bring your own snacks. 💡 Practical Suggestions Best way to visit: Entering the park after 4:30 PM is ideal – allowing you to enjoy both daytime and nighttime views while avoiding the midday sun and peak crowds. Suitable for: Families with children (kids will be fascinated by the miniature world) Photography enthusiasts (can take creative photos from the right angles) Visitors looking for a basic understanding of world landmarks Locals seeking a relaxing half-day trip Not suitable for: Visitors seeking thrilling rides Perfectionists with extremely high standards for the detail of the attractions. 📝 Overall Review: While World Park may not have the grandeur of the Forbidden City or the Great Wall, it offers a unique value – appreciating the essence of world civilization within a limited time and space. As a long-established theme park in Beijing, it holds many childhood memories for many. Advantages: Unique concept, convenient transportation, exciting nighttime attractions, great for taking photos. Disadvantages: Some facilities are outdated, limited interactivity, average food.

I totally recommend to go to the this park in night session. I did not expect anything before coming but it turned out so well. I won't regret it.
The park itself is primarily a miniature landscape. I visited it over 20 years ago during the summer vacation, and it was quite popular. This time, it was much less crowded. Perhaps it's because people's horizons have broadened. The park has added some new rides, and the children had a great time. Transportation and dining are very convenient within and around the park. Some attractions within the park lack shade, so remember to bring an umbrella or wear sun-protective clothing on sunny days.
The World Park brings together more than 100 miniature models of famous landscapes in nearly 40 countries around the world, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, the Pyramids, etc. The park is divided into five major theme areas: Europe, America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, and the water system simulates the layout of the four oceans. It is a good place to take your kids out for a walk.
The World Park has been built for many years. When it was just built and visited, many Chinese people did not have the opportunity or financial ability to travel abroad. So just like the Window of the World in Shenzhen, it attracted many tourists who wanted to go abroad to see the world. At that time, the tickets and the food in the park were still very expensive, so it was impressive. Today's World Park is already transforming from a proportional miniature building scenic spot to a performance and entertainment venue. So there are some small performances in the park in the afternoon and evening. For example, in the African tribal scenic spot, there is African dance in the afternoon, which attracts many people. In the evening, there are also real-life performances near the Katsura Imperial Villa in Japan and the Egyptian pyramids, which are quite good. If you just look at the miniature buildings in the scenic area, it is also an attempt for people who have never been abroad, and it is also quite interesting, just like a giant coming to Lilliput. Some miniature buildings are made very finely. If the lens is lowered, the photos really have the real feeling of the original buildings, such as Notre Dame de Paris and St. Paul's Church. There are many grasses and trees in the park. Sometimes you can see people taking wedding photos. The environment is very good. It is a good place to relax.
We have traveled all over the world together and swam in the miniature world. Let's go across the ocean with you and recall the romance of yesterday together. It is a great place for shooting, very suitable for wedding photos, and the welcoming performance is very exciting. Beijing World Park opened in 1993, covering an area of 800 acres, with a green area of 76%. It consists of six major performance sections, including the open-air art theater, the Asia-Pacific stage, the African stage, the welcoming square in the gate area, the Thai village elephant house, and the five continents float parade performance, embellishing nearly 100 world-famous architectural landscapes. The building materials of the scenic spot are as close to the original as possible, using bronze sculptures, bronze castings, gilding, gold plating, wood carvings, etc., to maintain the original style.
Find a sunny day to go to World Park. You need to scan the code to measure your temperature when entering the door. It is open during the epidemic, but not many people. I went there on Friday, and there were 170 people in the park. Now you can't travel to various places, so come to World Park to learn about the architectural styles of various places. As soon as you enter the door, you will feel like Disney Castle. There is a place to rent electric cars on the right hand side. There is a small car with two seats, one hundred yuan per hour, and a deposit of three hundred yuan. It is recommended to rent a car if you have elderly people and children. The place is big and it takes a long time to walk around!
