Neka Art Museum

A few kilometers north of Ubud is the Neka Museum of Art, a large private gallery featuring works by some of Bali's great 20th century painters and other contemporary Indonesian artists. You can easily spend a few hours here. The building is also beautifully done, with a cafe and a shop selling some high quality crafts and cheap souvenirs. It is worth a visit if you are interested in art. Tribute to the founders and artists who helped build such an important collection of works. I was the only one in the whole gallery. I loved walking in the gorgeous cool room with live versions of traditional Bali music coming from the courtyard. I was honoured to stop and think about art in this beautiful building. This is the only museum I have visited in Ubud.

When I arrived at the Neckar Museum, it was past the opening time and I could not enter the museum. The building of the museum was very Southeast Asian architectural style. Although I could not see the exhibition, the surrounding sea view was also very beautiful.

The Neckar Museum covers a small area, and the exhibits inside are not rare authentic products, but the quality is still very high, all local characteristics of sketch works, and abstract art forms.

Known as the "Culture and Art Village", it is the painting center of Bali. Visitors can enjoy or buy traditional Bali-style paintings in the "Neica" Art Gallery, which has a fascinating collection of works by Indonesian painters and foreign painters who live in Bali all the year round.

Tickets 75,000. The environment is good. Bali art is generally the same as the whole, but there are still some interesting things to see here, especially ancient times. Contemporary is a bit lackluster, and I see it very quickly. I wanted to take a taxi back, but it’s good to take a walk if it’s not hot. There are many small shops along the way, and the closer you are to the city center, the more tourists you will get. Generally speaking, it is worth going.

Actually, at the beginning, I decided to go here instead of going to another famous AMRA, because there was a roasted pork rib rice at the door, which was said to be sold in the afternoon. It was sold in the afternoon, and it went straight up here. It was a little far from monkey Lin Road. The taxi price was 50. We came over, about 15 minutes, and NEKA needed to buy tickets. Because it is relatively remote, there are few visitors, the number of visitors to the museum is not more than 10 people, very quiet, suitable for slow appreciation, NEKA mainly exhibits a variety of works of art, with the largest number of paintings, many paintings are gorgeous, the level is quite good ~ NEKA is the museum builder, as well as his statues and briefings (English but the silent drift through). There are several exhibition areas, along with tickets, there are topographic maps of the exhibition area. After a circle, there are cafes and places for sale outside.
