Quiet and Peaceful
We were advised to go in the morning before it became too hot. The gardens are laid out beautifully so nice to wander through. There are a lot of steps up to the site and there are new steps being bui...
It is a Buddhist temple located about 10 minutes walk from the main street of Lovina. There is a big pagoda, but it feels like a half ruins with a season. The gate was closed because it was evening, but the walls were low and the site was small, so I could see it through the walls. The old pagoda was illuminated by the setting sun and it was quite nice.
There is a famous Buddhist temple near the hot spring, but unlike that, it is quite small. It seems to have a long history because it is in the center of town, but the signs are small and difficult to understand, so I didn't think I had to go all the way. It may be a good idea to stop by before going to the market in the morning.
