This is an elegant white pyramid-style stupa, with stairs passing through the five-story platform to the round stupa on the top. It is famous for sunset watching and attracts tourists from all over the world. They all hope to witness the magnificent landscape of Ruishantuo Pagoda and the sunset glow.
The main big pagodas of Bagan are surrounded by Ruishandu Pagoda. To the west, you can see the Irrawaddy River, to the east are the Damayangji Pagoda and Sulamani Pagoda, and to the north are the Ta Bingyu Pagoda and Ananda. To the south of the temple, you can see a group of small stupas, and to the southeast, you can see the shining golden dome of the Damasca stupa. Love it very much!
The Ruishandu Tower is one of the most famous Buddhist towers in Myanmar. Because it is the highest Buddhist tower for tourists, it is the best place to visit the whole Buddhist tower. It is the ideal place to view the city of Wanta.
Bagan, at that moment, it was not high-rise buildings that broke into my sight, but many beautiful pagodas. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, come to this strange country, feel the quiet passing of leisure time from your side, and experience the situation of Buddhist beliefs in a foreign land. I have been to several Buddhist countries and I came to Myanmar not because of my curiosity about Buddhism, but because I wanted to witness the thousands of Buddhist pagodas in Myanmar. Bagan is such a mysterious and unpretentious city of thousands of pagodas. . Bagan, beautiful and magnificent! Sunrise and sunset are a must-see in Bagan. At dawn, it’s dark outside. When you come under the tower, you can climb the tower with the help of headlights. According to Buddhist beliefs, you must take off your shoes and socks and climb the steps of the stupa barefoot. . The steps of the pagoda are high and steep, with heavy equipment on their backs, and the difficulty is self-evident. In the two days here, although it was very hard, I never tired of it. When the sun rises, the sky, the earth, and the distant mountains are dyed red by the occasional rising sun. The most dazzling thing is that the large and small pagodas above the tree canopy stand in the wilderness, bathing with tourists. Under the rising sun, everything is immersed in the bright orange-red light, and the forest of thousand towers is shining. Bagan not only has an unforgettable sunrise, but also an exciting sunset. Fantasy, magnificence and shock are the unique scenery of Bagan! See the world freely
Ruishantuo Stupa is one of the many large pagodas in Pugan. It takes less than 10 minutes to visit the scenic spot. For no other reason, climbing and entering are not open, so most tourists just take pictures in a circle, but this pagoda is still marvellous. This is a very good place. Although it is not the best, it still ranks in the top ten in Bagan. Before that, people were allowed to climb the terrace of the pagoda. This is a good place to watch the sunset in Bagan. But now, in order to keep the ancient building in good condition, the stairs have been closed.
The name of this stupa means "golden sacred hair relic". It is named after the Buddha hair relic treasured in the pagoda by King Pigou. It is also said that King Anulutha sent troops to take the Hinayana Buddhist scriptures and defeated it. It was built by King Manuha, who was directly connected to the country, after returning home triumphantly. Very spectacular and beautiful, worth a visit!
