Hot but a good workout!

I did the loop twice: once through the Hermit Gulch campsite and the other through the botanical gardens. I came across a fox family, deer, and no rattlesnakes!

The single track out of the campground leads you through the gulch to beautiful views of Avalon. The day we went was in the mid 70s, but felt hot on the trail. Treat it like a hike, bring water, etc. ...
